If you've read any part of the lj, then you know I'm a huge movie fan and that I have a particular soft spot for "old Hollywood." My film professor has us looking at classics, which is becoming a wonderful experience. We saw Gentleman's Agreement and Les Enfants Terrible. I want to see more.

Saw "Faster Pussycat Kill, Kill" on my own time, which I am told is actually a grindhouse film. It was good.

Kinda going on a tangent, but classics have merit.

faster pussy cat...is one of the best grindhouse movies ever made...that table scene alone is worth the price of admission...i'm a huge russ meyer fan so i can spend a great deal of time talking about his stuff...

though i haven't seen the 2 you mentioned, i am quite knowledgeable about "classic" films...so if you ever need a "to see list" let me know, i'll be more than happy to make one for you...;)

Les Enfants is a French film. It's about a rather incestuous relationship between a brother and sister. Many things are implied than seen, but we get the picture. It carries on until they are adults.

Gentleman's Agreement is about antisemitism in the city. A writer pretends he's Jewish for a story. his relationship, work, and private life have turmoils. It kept my attention. Gregory Peck was the star.

Make me a list please. I am always looking for a good film to watch. Thanks in advance. :-)
