That's beautiful and lovely! It puts me in mind of the Great Spirit, the All-Mother, and the spirit that connects us all. And to have that come from West of all people ... Wonderful!

Ooh, an interesting take on "spirit"

Nature+minor character+spirit is most interesting. I like that West kind of is a 'wonderer' if you will, we read what he does with his spare time in the morning and with his ability (something we don't really see with the other guy who can fly, Nathan). I like that it's set where he's crushing on Claire.

Loved the theme and the writing style you used, really hit the right notes!

Thanks! I'll admit that my first thought was to write about a character being hunted by the spirit of somebody, but then I got this idea a sunny day when I looked at the flowers in the garden. Just not from a roof top. ;)

I'm very glad you liked what I did here. It's true, we don't see Nathan flying around and enjoying it just because he can... but then again, I suppose the show would get a bit slow (boring?) if there were a lot of scenes like this. ;)
