Summary: Claire’s family wants her back where she belongs. Jessica is not happy about it.

Notes: Sort of sequel to Unbreakable, what you need to know when reading this is that Claire ran away from home, trying to ‘help people’, but then she came to Bon Temps, became Jessica’s lover and there, it seems, she stayed… Thanks to bitterfig who made me think of this pairing; I’ve never been interested in writing any Claire-pairing within Heroes, but I like the idea of crossing it with True Blood!
“Bill, can you fly?”
Jessica, and some others who happened to be outside Merlotte’s, looked up at the sky.
Bill shook his head.
“Unfortunately I don’t have that skill.”
Jessica shivered with rage. How dared that man fly away with Claire? The guy had just walked in there like he owned the place. They had all been staring at him; how often do you see a handsome dark stranger in a suit in Sam’s bar?
But he was no stranger to Claire; she introduced him to Jessica as ‘Nathan, my bio-dad’, and she had reluctantly agreed to talk to him outside.
Apparently he was good at talking. He said Claire’s ‘other dad’ had sent him - the only thing worse than having a bossy dad, Jessica thought, must be to have two - and that her mother had been crying for a week, and that ‘Noah says Meredith’s crying now, too.’
Jessica didn’t know if it was the crying mothers that did it or something else, but as soon as Nathan saw that Claire begun to soften, he literally swept her off her feet and took off.
“Then take me to a vampire who can.”
Bill looked at her and shook his head again.
“Don’t you know who that was? Any mainstreaming vampire knows better than to mess with senator Petrelli’s family. Or any senator’s family.”
“Fuck that. Give me your car, and a map so I can find out where Costa Verde is. Claire is mine, and I’m taking her back.”
