So we’re in the middle of moving out, right. That means putting things in boxes, alternatively giving things away. The other day, mom was working on some of the books… ( Conversation )
Haha, yes, I loved that show sooo much!! (I remember disliking it when they replaced the actress who played Colleen.) I even had my penpal record the last seasons and send me video tapes because my family moved and we didn't get the channel Dr. Quinn aired on... that's obsession, right! Not to mention, that's a dedicated friend! Well, she liked Sully too, so it was all good. ;) I don't know; he just was "The ideal man" in my eyes. Even though I can say for sure I don't find the man attractive anymore, I once did and it meant something at the time.
Getting rid of books is so hard, who could blame us!!
Oh, you too? :D Haha, I think Sully must have been ALL teenage girls' hero back in the days! I mean, what was he like? Strong and independant (didn't care about appearances and other people's opinions, only about what's right), brave, fiercely loyal and chivalrous, and (according to my teenage eyes) very handsome, so what was not to like! *lol* (Well, okay, my sister couldn't care less about guys like that, she was always more into the "bad boy" kind of character *lol*)
Thanks, things are hectic and chaotic but it's just normal "moving out chaos" so it's all good. :)
Shima no sensei is very nice (I've still only seen two episodes) and Kimi wa petto is just lovely, you should definitely watch it! :D Okay, so I don't have a lot to compare with (I've seen less than 10 j-dramas, not counting "special episodes") so it probably doesn't mean much, but so far it's on my Top 3 list, haha.
So what are you watching? Do you have anything to recommend? :)
There's an interesting Japanese drama about a career-type woman, IIRC - called "Kimi wa petto" or something like that. My ex-roommate was obsessed with it and kept telling me the main character reminded me of her or something! I didn't watch very much of it, but the show was also definitely focused on one of those strong, hardworking, kind of serious (but with a temper) types...
I will never understand the appeal of Edward Cullen.
I know, I've almost finished it, I love it! :) Well, I don't know about your roommate, but the main character is beautiful, hard-working, intelligent and "elite", I don't particularily identify with that, but I can definitely relate to other aspect of her personality. Anyway, this drama is cute and funny! :)
