After so much silliness, I finally was able to install Windows 7. :D So far, so glorious. Vista never really urked me as much, but man, Windows 7 is purdy.
It makes me feel like I have a brand new laptop.
This is a good feeling. :D

AND AND AND
I spend the whoooole weekend at Dan's house and it was chill and it was awesome. The only downside was ( Read more... )

It's gotten great reviews. I'm fairly happy so far. It's notably faster than Vista.

I know, it's been received well, but I've been thinking of going open source on my main machine. I still have a vista machine for the couple of windows apps I can't live without, and I have my macbook, too...

It's been in progress for awhile. :) They released the Beta and the Release Candidate awhile ago and the actual OS is going to be available for purchase October 22nd. So far, it's pretty great. :D It's a lot faster than Vista, that's fo sho.
