She knew where her lover lived and after having her premonitions and reading her journal she knew she had to get to Ember before things went to Hell...literaly and figuratively.
The lair loomed before her and she pushed her hair out of her way, she had no idea what she could do for Ember...but she was willing to give it a shot so she knocked on the door, "EMBER! It's me Des!"
At the sound of Desiree's voice, Ember looked up from the couch, then combed her fingers the rest of the way through her hair. "Come on in," she called out while whiping tears from her eyes, her voice breaking.
She bit her lip and opened the door cautiously stepping into the room, the charms around her ankles clinking together softly, "Hey." She walked over to Ember and sank down on the couch next to the woman and put a delicate hand on the small of her back, "You summoned me, dear?"
Ember tried to calm her breathing. "I guess I should have told you when it started happening," she confessed. "But I didn't realize it was happening at the time, I just thought I was sleeping a lot more. And it's only happened three times so far. At least, I hope it's only been three times." She was stumbling over her words, not sure how to say this. "And I had to go talk to Clockwork first because I didn't want you to worry about me, but now I'm scared. And I don't know what to do..."
