Freakshow quickly headed over to Ember's after figuring out directions from Clockwork. He wasn't sure if he enjoyed getting this secret out to Ember or not. He felt dread at the thought of telling her, but also felt a little bit of relief.
Oh well, I'll find out if this is good or not soon.

The knock on her door startled her. She jumped to her feet, then calmed herself down. "Right, Freakshow," she said aloud to no one in particular. She just wasn't used to being alone yet.

She opened the door and ushered Freakshow in. "Hey, come on in and sit down."

Freakshow flashed her an uneasy smile before walking in. "Hello, Ember." he said, going over to the nearby couch and sitting down. "How are you today?"

She shook her head. "A little unnerved. This is the first time I've been back to my place since...well, you know," she glanced nervously at the black rug she'd thrown over THAT spot on the floor. "But otherwise, I'm good. And you?"
