Regarding the length indicator, I think you could go lower, maybe to intervals of 250? That way, the different versions probably won't affect it. I think every book on my (admittedly, tiny) shelves right now is about 3-400 pages, or less than 300.
Hmm. Point. And it does narrow things down a bit. Though most of them will get an <500 tag still, I think it's a good bit of info to add. *adds to see how it looks*

Hmm. I think that the rating system needs to be reader dependent since we don't have a way to average out reader's opinions.
We should try the 'sending links' thing. See how that works and how much effort that makes for me.
ANd I totally agree on a faq post, I just haven't written it up, but I know how to make sure the tag stays on top.
I also like the linking to author's websites.
