So, I asked once when I first installed it, and since I just upgraded both computers to Firefox 2.0 (no this I did on purpose, years of waiting for other people to find problems in new releases tyk) I thought I'd ask again ( Read more... )

The Web Developer toolbar. Oh God, so shiny. One-click javascript disable, and resizing pages to different screen resolutions, and view source, and view CSS, and... Wheee!

I'm also fond of the DownThemAll download client extension. Particularly when my connection is being a delicate fucking princess and fainting on me every half an hour.

Oh yes, DTA is the best thing ever. Definitely my favourite - I love it to pieces.

I haven't upgraded to 2.0 yet, so ymmv.

I can't live without IE View, BugMeNot and Adblock Plus.

I just started using Greasemonkey, and I'm already in love with: LJ Thread Unfolder with "Unfold All", LJ: express lane counter, and Force Wrap.

BTW, I rewrote the express lane counter to be a lot smaller and a lot politer. If anyone wants a copy, send me your email address.

I hope you don't mind a lurker butting in, but my new favourite extensions are Save Link in Folder and Save Image in Folder.

You set it up with the folders you usually want to save things in and then you can select them directly from the right-click menu. So I can save vids in one folder, icons in another and saved fanfic in another, without having to browse up and down the menu tree. It also adds those folders to the save dialogue box, which is useful for links you can't right-click on (YouSendIt, Sendspace, that kind of thing.)

I like Adblock, Forecastfox (weather forecasts), FoxyTunes (iTunes), and Mouse Gestures.

My newest fave? PermaTab! It's awesome! You can set as many permanent tabs -and of course turn them back to regular ones if you change your mind- as you like so that you 1) don't accidentally close them and 2)can check them later when you start Firefox again. No need to retype a url or click on a bookmark.

Bookmark Backup, Distrust (for private browsing. It automatically deletes cookies, history...all the traces left behind while you surf), and MetaProducts Download Express

For GM, LJ Ads Butler and LJ Thread Unfolder
