And yes! THEY TOTALLY WANTED TO DATE! TOTALLY! THERE NEEDS TO BE FIC ABOUT THOSE MISERABLE SIX WEEKS. *koff*
Ah where was I? God I bet keeping in contact wasn't even a conscious THOUGHT. Just after John's first craptacular mission as part of the SGC (I totally wanna know what his number was, must look closer on the rewatch) he looked up Rodney's number.
Or maybe Rodney emailed it to him or something as part of a mass "this is my new contact info" email that nearly crashed the system because god knows EVERYONE needs to know how to reach Rodney.
He calls Rodney after every mission and complains about his new team. In a really whiny voice. And Rodney misses him so much that he lets John go on and on and on.
That's what I thought at first BUT would Atlantis respond to replicators? Since replicators don't have Ancient DNA, how could Lenia have raised the control panel? Unless there was enough time between their arrival and Lenia raising the control panel for little commando nanites to infect Atlantis...
I was surprised that JACK ::cough,the Aschen,cough:: and John accepted the Ancients so easily, seemingly without reason.
OMG! adorable!hot!John! Standing on the bed! Curled up & giggling when Ronon picked him up! Wanting to hear that his BF missed him! Leaning in black shirt & jeans!!!
Ok, I just have to say they did World of Warcraft WRONG. And I was soooo WOW!!! THEY HAVE WOW!!!!!!!!!! And then I went, '75? but... it only goes until 60??'<-- Yes, I am a geek of geekitude.
But yeah, the entire time I kept on expecting them to go 'oh, crap, the ancients are replicaters!' And then Woolsey was shooting things, and it was just... odd.
I've never played WOW a day in my life, but a lot of my friends do. They have new expansion packs coming out and the new highest level is 75. The geeky science guy says that he had a bit of an advantage by getting the expansion packs early or something. Which totally makes sense to me. Because any gamer with security clearance that high would totally use connections to get these things early.

::dies:: That was the most fabulous moment EVER. You know they call each other every night. And email each other every morning.
Postulation: The ancients faked it?
Good question. The Gateroom certainly didn't look damaged or anything. But were those ancients at the controls? Or replicators?
