No they need the plant, it was what made the drink that when ingested made the body produce the pheremones..

Sorry, I meant to make the antidote for the pheromone's effects, they needed a sample of the pheromone. Not the plant. Which maybe with Beckett's voodoo molecular synthesis can be duplicated. (He's been synthesizing weirder stuff on the fly.) Unless you're aiming to get the body producing the pheromone directly, and then yeah you'll need the plant.
