uhm... i thought everyone chose their politicians based on skin colour, nice voice, degree of fatherfigureness (so gender is relevant too), money their daddy has left them, symetry of the face, catchy phrases that their assistants thought up and NOT such silly things as intellegence?

just think what would have happened if we chose our politicians by intellegence! it'd actually make things happen which are beneficial in the long run! who the hell cares about long run, while getting a cup of coffee is already a (morally) challenging task? :P
