I kind of really loved them together-- I remember waaaay back at the beginning of the season, after Finn had kissed Rachel and she was all angsty and singing that Rihanna song and was creeper-watching Finn and Quinn talking by the lockers, thinking that they looked kind of actually really happy together. They were just talking and smiling and laughing, and that always stuck with me. Finn's a nimrod of epic proportions sometimes, but he loved her; Quinn's the uberbitch to end all uberbitches, but she loved him. Absolutely dysfunctional, but I always wanted to go "AWWWWW" when they were together.
Also, the song is just a blast. If you haven't heard it, you should definitely check it out. There's something about it that necessitates cranking the volume and just belting it out. It's hysterical to listen to.
Oooh, yeah, I'd forgotten about her looking all sad. Quinn making her sad faces makes me so unhappy. She looks like a kicked puppy when she does, and you kind of forget that she can rip you a new one just by raising an eyebrow at you...
I liked this part because through my Faberry haze, he always seems to get in the way, and so I always find reasons not to like him. Still, Finn is a good guy at the end of the day. Human like the rest of us, and a bit dull otherwise, but still, he didn't deserve the treatment he got. I like that this part really went into that. And Love Me Dead is just an awesome song. I can see him singing it, if it wasn't for some of the lyrics, lol.
