Love that Quinn's mom is trying to made amends, beginning with sending Quinn to the person she needs most regardless of her ambivalence about their romantic relationship.
Love that Quinn called Rachel "love" again; it's a terrific callback to Columbus and the last time Rachel helped her find the peace she so desperately needed. Not to mention the weeks following Quinn's miscarriage, when Rachel would do schoolwork while Quinn slept.
Finally, the thought of Finn and Puck scaring the hell out of Mr. Fabray fills me with an indescribable joy. Especially if it involved fire.
Also:
Her hands clenched one, resting tensely atop the plaid material of her skirt...
There seems to be a word missing in the first part there. Maybe "her hands clenched one another"?
I don’t know exactly what that entails, but Puck is prone to setting things on fire, so I’m a little weary.
I'm assuming that's supposed to be "wary."
Okay, stopping now. Promise. ;)
Again, terrific chapter. All three parts of it. XD
I got so depressed before I noticed the link on the first page. This was not half as depressing as I was expecting. Sure, upsetting- but with all the super!angst I have read in this fandom lately, I was expecting death/betrayal/cheating or something equally dire.
I really enjoyed this! I hope Rachel/Quinn can enjoy each other in the next few days and relax.
"It was never supposed to get long anyways, but once it happened I told myself I'd stick it out until their relationship hit solid ground in whatever form it took-- romantic, friendly, were-friends-now-hating-each-other, whatever." I think this is stressing me out more than the actual events of the fic. Not only that the end is coming (I'm on record for wanting this to go on indefinitely-haha), but this sounds ominous to me and I really, really want a happy ending. So let me go on record with that, too. :)
This chapter was excellent. I love the little details you always have, like Rachel standing on the bench, the not being able to reach the luggage compartments, etc. Also, the fight was REALLY well executed. Felt like I was right there watching it all happen. Can't wait for the next bit!
Wow. This was angsty. Stupid Mr. Fabray. But I really liked how Quinn's mom reacted in this. I can't wait for an update. I like that all of Quinn's friends were so protective of her. I don't know what I'll do once you stop writing this!
