So....I found a pottery class at one of our local park district locations. There is honest-to-gods a cheap, Park District sponsored class with All The Clay and POTTERS' WHEELS!!!
I've wanted to throw pots since I was, like, 8!!!
I've got photos of what I've done so far...

I have a small ( very small) collection of artist thrown pots in both full size and miniature. I am especially fond of raku.

I love the colors in your glazes. The cups look like they would feel good in the hand, too! Amazing!

Hope your hand is back to normal soon.

I've never been much interested in trying to make pottery myself....I find it interesting to watch, granted, just one of those things I've never really had a mind to do myself. ....although painting someone else's things might not be so bad..... XD
Owwie looks owwie! No really, you *don't* have to injure yourself for your art! heh
I do like the spirally-cups with the straight sides.....are they gonna be colored with anything or left "au natural"? Either way, they are oddly my favorites.
The texturing on the plates...is that done freehand, or did you have some kind of stamp to use? Yes, my mind tends to wonder about strange and odd things...why do you ask?
Am *so* happy that you're getting to do something that you've wanted to try for so very long...and that 'reality' wasn't a let-down and that you're enjoying it like crazy! Go you!!!
