I read that essay on teaching. Sadly, I think what she said is true. I see it everyday in the results: the students we now have enrolled in college. And in the attitudes or the public in general towards teachers. I find this so sad and so wrong. Sure, I had some lousy teachers, but I had some really great ones too. And I went to public schools. The intelligence and education I have today is because of those great teachers.

I wish I weren't so far behind in Doctor Who. The last ep I watched was "The Doctor's Daughter". Sad isn't it. I really know I'd love River and it's going to take me a while to get to her. I fell so far behind during my long illness when all I wanted to do was sleep. I'm also behind on Fringe and Bones. I also want to see Battlestar Galactica. It's going to take forever for me to get caught up on all I've missed.

I'm gonna go watch an ep of Doctor Who, at least. ;)
