That sounds like chalcedony when we took her to see GalaxyQuest. I honestly thought she was going to suffocate.

I nearly suffocated at that one too. Serious barking noises along with the wheezing, gasping, choking, laughing hilarity.

I really enjoyed Big Bang Theory before the writers' strike, but I haven't been back since -- mainly just don't get home that early anymore (I'm at work as I type ~shrug~) and haven't thought to set the VCR for it. Are they pre or post strike episodes, inspiring this enthusiastic reaction? :-)

We're up to ep 9 from last season, so I'm assuming that it is still pre-strike. They managed to get 17 out last season, which amazes me, and are now up to 2x17.

I've only seen the 9 and part of one ep from this season, which is what got me interested.

I've missed a couple of weeks...must go set the DVR. We started watching it from the beginning, and I wondered where all the fans were. As you say, "from our planet"! It's consistently one of my most favorite shows.

Jill watched from the beginning too, and I was just ignoring things. We're up to ep 9 from S1 and there were apparently a full 17 that they finished before the strike. Amazing.

SO fun.

Actually, I didn't. I discovered it mid-first season and furiously caught up from there. I don't watch sitcoms, generally. Nor do I usually watch anything that airs at 7. ;) But this totally won.

By the end of S1 it's awesome. It had some shaky moments in the first half.
