R.I.P., Beverly Garland

Laura Holt, Amanda King, and L&C's Lois Lane's mothers were all played by Beverly Garland, who died today at age 82. :-(

The actual amazing thing, was the hubby came in and told me this [he'd read it on-line...chances are good on Readit, 'cause he's on that site ALL the time...LOL] and told me about it, and had to remind *me* of who she was **hangs head in shame**

Though, when I think of her, I always think of the 'Scarecrow' opening credits, where she flashed that really *brilliant* smile of hers--I think over her shoulder as a result of something Amanda said. All I can see in my mind's eye right now is that smile. heh

Very, very sad.
