So...Joan from Masonic called me back on Saturday and we set up the medical diagnosic for Ben. She said that we can do Ben's evaluation on Dec 21 (which means we'll be coming back from C'dale a bit early, but it's a trade-off I'm comfortable with

Indeed.

And every time I see a kid who's younger than Ben and SO far ahead of him--or hear reports of same--I'm that much more convinced that our course of action is absolutely the right one.

And, if all is well in 3 or 6 or 9 months...all the better, and I'm fine with never knowing if it was becuase of the intervention or would have happened anyway.

I do think it is going to be fine, but I think we need to do something.

I'm so impressed by how well you've marshalled the resources available to get this accomplished.

Well, I have a lot of information, knowledge, experience, and such available to me. I speak the language, can give clear and professional information, and, well, it helps.
