Hahaha! All the baby stuff does seem overwhelming, but that's only before you start shopping (or receiving gifts). When we went to SM to complete our baby stuff, they had a ready checklist for you of stuff you will need. I even still have things I've never used (like feeding bottles because Lia is exclusively breastfed).

Another thing that helped me is joining an LJ community of mommies expecting the same month as me. You can search for the month your baby will be born, the other mommies are always full of advice, encouragement, and questions you're too shy to ask. :) And of course someone always answers. Don't be scerd. Hehe. Enjoy!

Hi Nikka! Miyer & I just finished a week ago, buying the stuff we need for the baby. We were adviced by other friends and Miyer's mom not to by cheap bottles. We bought Avent bottles & sterelizer. As for some baby clothes, (the so-called "baru-baruan") we bought some from Divisoria, and some from the mall. As for the crib, we just bought it in SM (not the Graco because it's hot in manila). We bought a crib made out of wood and can't wait to assemble it! The baby bag, if you want a good quality of baby bag, go to Rustan's. We bought ours in Rustan's Gateway. We don't like the ones in SM because it's not made of cloth. If you really wanna buy quality stuff, it's really expensive. Don't be so nervous though. You really should enjoy shopping stuff for your baby like we did even if am having some difficulty walking now. (My tummy is so big!) You can just message me if you still need more advice. :)
