I decided to try for the fangs_fur_fey hook contest. If nothing else, it's a good exercise. Best of all, crit group is tomorrow so we can go over it. One of the advantages crit groups have over writing classes is if you show up with nothing but a query letter or synopsis, that counts as having done work.

I've just posted mine over on the Tangled Muse forums, hoping to get a crit before Sunday. Having never really written a hook before I'm not sure I've done it at all in the right direction. I'm looking forward to the opinion of folks who have more experience with it than I have. :)
