No magic expertise from me, but thanks to blastia I can have some minor elemental attributes to my attacks. Flynn and the Old Man Raven, they're from where I'm from. They might be able to tell you more about their brands of artes if you run into them.

... Learning more about peoples' backgrounds is the reason I started that little picnic a while back. I've got no arguments with peace; I went into the ship too after all. But... my reason for living isn't here. Just thinking about what'll happen while I'm gone is giving me a headache.

I can use magic. Can you? The different types of magic in this place are fascinating. I've never even read about most of them. A healing spell called "Dia" -- I've never come across that, and I did a great deal of reading up on healing spells for --

--For a project. I'd really love to interview everyone and write up a paper on all of the different magics. I'm not entirely sure if we can take this knowledge back to our worlds -- but imagine if we could! What a breakthrough in magical knowledge! I admit, I'm a bit thrown off -- I'd read theories of other dimensions in New Age Wizardy material, but I'd written it off as a load of rubbish. But I suppose every breakthrough started off somewhere as a rubbishy theory - I suppose it couldn't hurt to keep a more open mind. Although without a basic framework of logic to work from, I'm not sure how one is supposed to process the world. After all --

That sounds quite interesting. I've studied healing spells. How does elemental magic work in your world? Elemental magic has fallen a bit out of fashion in mine, aside from basic fire and water conjuring charms and such. And you use both light and dark magic?
