So I was seriously JUST considering a Rossi/Prentiss tag to the last episode, and then this popped up on my screen. Different guy, but I'll take it! :) This is great. I love the way you have Derek prove in so many of your fics that he really is a good guy, and of course since Emily's the one who called him on that back in season 2, it's great to see him able to be vulnerable, in a way, with her. And you capture Emily's tough self-reliance really well here. Lovely.

Since R/P will take a different approach to the situation, I think it's very important that you write the story anyway. Not that I'm trying to make up excuses just because I want to read some good r/p.
