Haha. I loved it. Very angsty and I'm glad that you've kind of shown that the Ambassador does care for Emily and that Emily does love her mother; even if they've had their differences.
I'm so totally confused by that ending though. Please don't just leave it there.

And for the record? CRUEL TO LEAVE IT THERE. I get why you did, but still. Cruel. I can't wait for you to continue with this amazing series, I really can't. The rapport between Dean and Emily is great, how they're not really "lovers," just two people that know how to comfort each other, yet without ramifications.
