I read this over at the Kink thread, and I absolutely loved it. I think you did a fantastic job here. You took a great prompt and made it very believable. I just loved this. Awesome job!

I read this over at the Kink Meme and it was so well done with such subtle cues I was almost sure you wrote it. I love being right.

This:

‘So…’ he starts, slipping back underneath the covers. ‘Are you going to tell me, or are we going to keep playing this game?’

For a split second, it feels as though her heart has stopped, but then it speeds up, as though she’s running. In a way, she is.

And

She gives a soft moan as he pumps into her. It hurts, but it’s a good kind of hurt. A healing hurt. She’s crying as she comes, her fingers digging into his back. Once his own climax passes, he brushes his hand across her cheek.

‘Hey,’ he says softly. ‘It’s okay, I’m here.’ She takes a deep breath. ‘Are you alright?’

Both are beautiful and wonderful characterization as well. Just gorgeous.

Very well done! I like the sadness and hope in this. And it´s so wonderfully written.
‘Do you trust me?’ he asks.

‘Yes,’ she answers, and it surprises her how little she needs to think about it.

‘Whatever happens, whatever comes of this, I am here. I am not going to leave you like that jackwad, and I am certainly not going to think any less of you.’ This is so perfectly in character. Swell!
