Things at Home: 3 humans, 4 cats. All is well. We’re all still healthy and hanging in there, but as you’d expect, there isn’t much going on around here.

Things at Work: still good. I had my yearly review - I’m doing a great job and got a 3% raise. Yay, me!

Thanks! I find it amusing that across the pond, you say "pay rise" and we say "pay raise". Two countries divided by a common language :)

I haven't watched "Enola Holmes" yet but plan on watching it soon. Did you like it?
I've been away in my own little world lately. Long walks alone, watching sunsets, and reminiscing, are growing more essential to my peace of mind... And doing a lot of writing and guitar playing.
I should pay attention to my friends more... So I'm doing catch up on your NCIS stories I like so much :)

I did like "Enola Holmes". It's based on a middle-grade book series, which I also enjoyed. They're different, of course, but both good.

Sometimes being alone can be good for you, but like with most other things, moderation is key.
