I keep meaning to ask you. Your names, do you have a particular website or book you use to know these different meanings, or are you multi-lingual? If website or book would you mind sharing the details, please?
Oh, I am so not multi-lingual *g* I took Latin in school, and that's really not useful. Actually, I have a bunch of books I use (I collect random 'reference' books that I think might come in handy some day). I have an English-Latin dictionary from school; two English-Japanese dictionaries; mini/pocket dictionaries in German, Italian and American Sign Language; Frommer's phrasebooks/culture guides for Japanese, Chinese, Italian, French and German; Lonely Planet phrasebooks for Mandarin Chinese, Hebrew, Middle East (several different forms of Arabic), India (again, several different languages) and Scandanavian (same deal); and an English-French dictionary that was my dad's from high school. The Welsh dictionary I borrowed from the library.
*g* I'm sure there's an easier way to look that stuff up, but I like the books.
*Waves to fellow random reference books collector* Interestingly enough, my own vast collection of such books are lacking in that kind of dictionary. Methinks it's time I remedied it *g*
There are some very good name sites on the web I use, but I just really love the way you have so many different languages. I can feel a visit to Amazon coming on (except we are meant to be getting rid of some books at the moment).
aww... cuties! And I love how you picked their names. And I didn't know you were a polyglott, that rocks! :)
Just... *whispers* in french "horn knight" would translate by "Chevalier corne". Yeah, we do it the other way around much of languages by putting noun before qualifier. *ahem*
OMGibbs! You have a pigmy and a sky serpent! *iz jealous* seems I never spot those.
*will get another shot of coffee before turning into babble brook on you*
oh, my mistake. I have that sort of collection as well.
From your POV but, for us, it's for us, it's french grammar book 101. I guess every languages has their own proper inner codes and that's what I love about them. :)
Oh, Well, I'm a newbie in the dragon cave so... I still hope to find a Pigmy and maybe winter egg but... Hope you'll collect them all. :)
More coffee is always good, especially italian expresso! :)

And these are so gramatically incorrect! The Latin words aren't declined at all, and I wouldn't even know where to start in any other language.
I've been trying to collect one of each dragon type, to figure out which I like best:)
Ooh, more coffee sounds good...
