one thought, if that's okay? as Ianto=Welsh, I think he would think Wales is renowned for rain, the Welsh can be very us not them, and I think that comes over in Torchwood

And I'm sure Ianto is used to the rain (I lived in England for two years when I was really little, and I think I'm still used to it). But sometimes when you have a bad day, rain just makes it worse, doesn't it? Plus, I'm only a dozen episodes in to Torchwood, so I'm still learning- but thanks for the tip:)

I definitely think rain can be the last straw when you are fed up, even when it is expected

Torchwood really grew on me. I always watched Dr Who, so naturally watched, but was surprised by just how much I liked it.

A Welsh dimension in mainstream tele is still rare imho, and i find it most cool the show is set in Cardiff. I have friends who 'street spot'.
