I was not aware that there are Murdoch books. Did it reflect the series well? How was the story itself?
Ah, Gargoyles. Used to love that series. It was good, and also fun recognizing all the Star Trek actors' voices. We have been working our way through the new Leverage. Hubby would be happy to binge watch the whole thing in one sitting, but I prefer to watch one or maybe two at a time so they can sink in before I watch the next one. Hope there will be another season.

I'm only up to Season 5 of the Murdoch Mysteries series and I've only read the first book, but... I think I like the series better. The book focuses mainly on the case, then on Murdoch, and all the other characters are sort of vague (also, there's no Julia). So I prefer the ensemble cast.
Yes, all the Trek actors! I'm re-watching TNG at the same time, so that's extra fun. And I *love* the new Leverage. I agree on the one-at-a-time watching - this is the kind of show that should be savored.
