He wasn’t sure how the topic of ballroom dancing had come up, but he’d had just enough ruus wine to pull Teyla up from her seat at the bonfire to demonstrate.
“Perhaps, I could-” she began.
“No, no, let me show you.” Rodney got to his feet, but instead of taking Teyla’s hand, he took John’s, with a snapped, “I lead.”
John leaned in flush against him, “Whatever you say, McKay,” and let Rodney start them in a slow waltz in the soft Lantean moonlight.
