Through the ringing in his ears, he barely heard O’Neill shout his name.
Major-Carter crouched beside him. “Are you okay? Where’s Daniel?”
Teal’c tried to reply, but coughed on the lingering smoke and could only gesture.
Weapon raised, O’Neill approached the crumpled figure in Jaffa armor, then flicked aside the cloak to reveal an Air Force-issue uniform.
“Daniel!”
The figure groaned and sat up, fumbling with the release on his helmet. “What happened? Wait, what am I wearing?”
“The armor is mine, Daniel-Jackson,” rasped Teal’c. “There was an explosion. Are you unhurt?”
“Yeah,” he said. “I’m okay. Thanks.”
“Indeed.”
