“Ow,” she said. “Yes. What are you doing?”
“When you rolled down that hill this morning and hit all those berry bushes, the juice went right through your uniform. I can’t tell what’s a bruise and what’s a stain. Does that hurt?”
“Ow. Yes.”
Toby poked her again, in a different spot. “How about this?”
“No,” said Gryff.
“That’s juice,” he said, and she felt something wet slide across her skin.
“Hey!”
“Gotta mark the ones to scrub off,” said Toby, unrepentant. “Does that hurt…?”
