ROTFLMAO IT IS REALLY NOT READABLE AT THE MOMENT. it's just fragments of thoughts, like, oh maybe here archie and cook can have a conversation about pottery etc etc. but i have this tiny little bit fleshed out (IT IS REALLY ROUGH THOUGH), so. um. have some cookleta? :D
David meets the Prince at last.

"Oh," David says, looking around. There's no one else there. "Cook, what are you doing here? They said I was supposed to--"

"Hey, David," the Cook says, smiling.

Which is when David realizes--

"Oh my gosh!" he exclaims, flailing a little. "You - the crown!"

"Yeah," the Cook - the Prince, oh my heck - says. He sounds embarrassed, and David cannot imagine why.Then he pulls the crown off his head. "Sorry about that. It's pretty old-fashioned, I know."

"Oh! No!" David manages, faintly. His heart feels like it's fluttering in his stomach. "I don't mean - you're not the Cook."

"Yeeeeeah," the Prince drawls, sheepishly. "About that."

"Oh my gosh," David repeats, stricken. "I can't believe you let me say all those things"Well, I thought ( ... )

ROTFL OMG YOU READ THE CASTROCEST. *FLAILS* tysm for the fb! i have, like, an outline of david's six months in the palace all written out, and if people like this, i think it would be awesome trying to write it all! :D

hee! oh my gosh, thank you! i have a soft spot for this story already - i seem to do that a lot when the davids are involved - and it's so good to hear that i might have a reason to write more of it! :D

Remember the Cook I've been telling you guys about? The one I met my first day at the Palace? Um, the one who's been giving me etiquette lessons and stuff? Um. I sort of found out that he's not really a cook? He's, like, the Cook. Like, Prince Cook? Um. Haha. Kind of weird, huh?

OK, I know I can't be the only person on the planet with an ungodly obsession with Michael Castro! This caught my attention pretty quick, since you're the only other person I've seen include him in fics besides myself... That, along with my love of Season 7ers and fantasy, I liked this so far. Nice to meet another MCas fan. (Please let me know if you see anything involving him floating around the ficworld, ok? I have 2 in the works at the moment.) No worries, I have lots of other Idolloves as well, mostly seasons 7 and 8... If you post more of this, I'll definietely read it :)
