Because MAYBE if I wasn't poor, I could actually afford to see a doctor to find out WTF is going on with my damn stomach. This has been going on for about a week now and it's seriously annoying

No idea if this will help, but I recently read that cooked cabbage is healing for stomach ulcers and prevents colon cancer and lemonade--just the basic stuff--can do away with kidney stones. Personally, I find that apples are good for my stomach troubles. They have an enzyme in them that defuses stomach acid.
A friend of mine with irritable bowel syndrome is trying to eliminate all the things that create havoc in her system, but it's hard because her husband and son don't want to not eat things like cheese and milk and wheat and things with fructose in them.
Ooh! Mom and I just went grocery shopping tonight and we got a cabbage, because we're having corned beef some night for dinner. :) No apples, though, but we do have some strawberries and cantaloupe.
I am in serious trouble if I do have to eliminate stuff from my diet. Because pretty much everything a) has fructose and/or wheat in it, and b) I looooooove a lot of the 'trigger' foods that are known to cause problems. D:
