We've both changed over the years, I guess, and we're just so different now. I do still want them in my life, just not like this. Oh well.

Nail your asshole brother and his bitch wife with facts. Confront them with their failure to adopt unwanted children and Hammer Home the irrefutable proof of the blatant lies spewed by the repukelican party about..well...EVERYTHING. Also, Compare their party talking points with what JESUS had to say. They are NOT compatible in any way shape or form.

My mother is also convinced that Obama admitted he was a MOOOSLIM on TV. It was because of some cut and paste crap she got in email. It's so disgusting how NON-REALITY BASED these types of people are.

I would nail them - and I could be pretty caustic about it too, despite my being a Libran peacemaker-type - except that it wouldn't do any good, and would even make things worse for me. I'm not in a position right now where I can zap with impunity and get away with it. (Also, depending on my mood, I can also be merciful, and as much as they can piss me off I do still want them in my life, albeit it will have to be on a limited basis if they're going to do this stuff). But yes, everything there is true! Ah well.

Life goes on, as they say. *shrug*
