Ugh. Fleas are without a doubt the most common and most disgusting problems we see on a regular basis at our clinic. They gross me out every time, and I've seen a LOT of gross stuff!

The product we recommend for homes is a spray called Enforcer-it's an especially good product for homes with cats since you can spray under furniture (I don't know about Sam-kitty, but mine love playing behind stuff...), and the bombs can't reach those places...

Isn't it a PAIN?! Fleas, that is! My daughter keeps getting human fleas! (Lice) from school? I dunno. Maybe it's me bringing it home on the Japanese Bullet Train Crowded bus that I ride to work...

Didja know fleas are the second most contagious thing behind the common cold?! In Japan, they hand out delicing packets (some type of chemical shampoo) for free at all public baths. It's extremely common. I bet it is in kitty cat land too!

Get yourself some flea-traps, too- make sure they have lights to attract the nasty little buggers.

I read that putting out a bowl of soapy water with a light next to it is supposed to attract them...
