• Theodore Laurence from Little Women.  Ah, Laurie.  Teddy dear!  I've always loved him.  Sure, he has that whole "marry-any-sister-i-can-get" thing... but he's so incredibly sweet and charming and just oh!... (Plus, I don't have a sister, so I'm sweet.) ...and in the film? Christian Bale! 'nuff said.

Yeah it wasn't bad. Are you a Beatles fan? There were a lot of illogical plot decisions and completely gratuitous stuff. Some of the music was pretty damn good though. Sadie's songs in particular felt less like they were just chucking them in a movie for the sake of it, and more like ... I dunno, proper songs or something. But there are cameos from Joe Cocker, Bono, Eddie Izzard, Selma Hayak, so that's cool. Not bad but not great. Quite pretty to look at and the music was good, but the narrative was a bit meh. I did enjoy it. And all the references were good too.
