update

I'm leaving my place.  Some of the other ALTs are all styaing together in Taira and my supervisor has called a taxi for me to go there too.  I will be leaving in about 20 minutes.  Bringing all my food with me, some clothes and pillow, and my laptop.  Bringing my passport just in case. Don't know what is going to happen.  Yotsukura, 4 stops from me

I got here safely. Had an awesome taxi ride. He slowed right down at every bump so as to not hurt my back. I guess Kodama Sensei told the taxi company about my back....he asked me about it as soon as I got into the cab.

anyway, I'm having a great time. Really happy I came!

It's probably going to be good to stay with a lot of other people in the same situation. Better than being alone, I imagine. It's good to know they're taking care of you.

It's great! I'm really happy!

I just had the most amazing meal!! Brown rice, and a veggie stirfry. I ate so much! Everyone here brought food with them from their apartments. So we are all sharing. Made the awesome meal possible!

Most of us are sitting in the living room now watching tv and chatting or on our laptops doing whatever. It's so nice to be with people. Also, there havne't been anymore aftershocks in the last 3 hours! that's a big improvement...hmmm I should write all this in a new post. lol
