I am not quite sure why..but the Gillette bike is up for auction..

The reason is that Gillette paid for the bike and not Discovery, and they wanted a bike to auction off for a good cause. If you saw the episode it explains it there. Also you find out what Sr. really thought of the bike after he rode it.
It may look cool but it is totally unridable.

Actually I missed most of the last episode of it, and it hasn't been on again yet.

I hope you were able to see the Fathers Day Marathon of AC. The Gillette Bike episode was played as one of the last couple.

No such luck..Discovery Canada didn't get a marathon.

Was surprised to hear this but then again it's all going to a worthy cause so that's okay.
