You never mentioned you had flying foxes in the yard before! Amazing. Tawny frogmouths are awesome enough, but I don't think I would get any sleep if I lived somewhere where flying foxes were around.

Aw geez thanks! The flying foxes are SUPER LOUD, with long chittery squawking squabbles outside the windows at night. Bonus fun fact: males have eerily primate-like genitalia. Thanks for that, vertebrate biology housemate.
