Just returned from the Aus Ent Soc meetings in Perth and ten days of fieldwork in beautiful Western Australia, including the Outback at its Outbackiest. It was amazing, here is a handful of photos 'til I can flickr them all up.
Everyone was so jazzed about the Moloch! He was the handsomest guy. I honestly had no idea about the fake heads-- even the herpetologist thought it was some kind of weird growth at first.
Re: Mr. Lumps, dang you're fast. And I didn't even have to mention his bubbly personality, salty language, or the sense that he's an old soul! ONE MILLION INTERNET POINTS TO YOU.
Have you seen that video of moloch drinking in a puddle? They stand there and let capillary action pull water up their skin into their mouths <3 What the hell, lazy molochs.
It was a real treat to have you at my birthday party, like an extra present! I'd love to have hi-res copies of those little drawings if you don't mind :D And I really love the original RM sketch, I think it's really energetic and sweet!

What is that lumpy thing though? The first thing that jumps in my head is a stromatolite, otherwise I have no idea.

Here's the highest-res scan; they were quite tiny to begin with.
p.s. thank you for not dwelling on my banjo-drawing inabilities, stringed instruments will be the death of me someday.
