busy weekend

Hey there, internet! Happy Earth Day! I don't know about y'all, but I spent Earth Day recovering from: CAL DAY. As with the last 3 years, I spent it painting insects on the faces of other people's children.
This year I finally got around to drawin' new coloring pages for the insect crafts table as well-- you would think that would beat the cop-out ( Read more... )

Hey! I photocopied those habitus drawings because we had nothing to entertain the ones who can't glue eyes on the clothespins. (;

I did notice your new coloring pages! I think it would make a rad coloringbook for the children of entomologists. Much better than the habitus drawings stolen from BTJ.

Oh no no, I didn't mean to impugn your habituseses -- I'm specifically thinking of the Chelagyrtes, Trirammatus, and Saltonia (??) pictures cobbled together by me & Sarah last year. Man, I didn't know you made coloring pages. I wanna color my own trichop...

An entomology coloring book would be pretty fun! I would be totally surprised if Jay Hosler didn't beat us to it, though. :)

I.. I'm ashamed to admit this, but I just listened to some 1990 Bob concert bootlegs and those mp3s end to end, and the latter is so much better. Oh man.
Thanks for the link. I hope I don't have to hand in my Bob Dylan Sheriff Badge for this. :(
