so after my father hit on the brilliant plan of telling my uncle to hand my inheritance papers off to his accountant to put in order - a plan that took the combined minds of four grown adults three months to put together, i'll add - it seems like i'm finally getting my inheritance. which means, along with buying a new car and finishing our work on

I'm so glad you'll get to go to college for something you love! I've got a degree, but I went for something "practical". I'm considering going back for something that makes me happy... I just have to decide what path I'll take...

aww, thanks! haha, i think the whole 'practical degree' thing is a huge fallacy. people make money from doing things well, not just from doing things. and in order to do something well over a long period of time, you have to love it. at the end of the day, doing something practical just means doing something someone else decided was good for you.

it's taken me a lot of work to be able to feel this way, honestly, and even though it's not perfect the fact that i can find so many things to be content about is really important to me :)
