Ang Lee, making a movie about events that went on in my home town. I'm not sure how I feel about this. If I hadn't lived in the aftermath of Woodstock, I'm pretty sure I'd absolutely love this film. Having been neck deep in it, though, I worry about all the inaccuracies I'll see

It does say it was "inspired" by a true story, which gives them a TON of wiggle room.

"Wiggle room" bothers me when it comes to a bit of history that is constantly and consistently mis-represented.

Especially a bit of history that I spent years dealing with.

At least it looks like it'll be a pretty movie.

there's a program on the History Channel right now about the 1960's and they talked about all that a bit. :D
