Did the family Christmas Eve thing tonight. Now, in addition to my niece, there is one other actual child there. Granted, Erik, Jr., isn't even a year old yet, to there's not much Christmas wonder being generated directly from him--but around him, well, everyone

I still don't feel like I fit in at all with my family. But, at least they're tolerable, amusing at times and generally good people. It could be a whole lot worse (gods know some people who may be reading this do have it whole lot worse than I do in the family department).

(Cough)

So yeah, I can relate to feeling like you don't fit in with your family. Isn't that a precious feeling?
