I just got back in touch with a buddy of mine from high school.

He's just as awesome as ever.

Need proof?

He's a web developer, an artist and a comic book fan. Putting the two together, he and a friend launched ComicVine at the end of last year. Even better, he's a super villainI'm gonna have to play around a bit with that site later ( Read more... )

I've had the opposite experience. Almost nobody I know from high school seems to exist online, either on Myspace or any other place, even when I've actively looked them up.

Although I've certainly *met* new people online, though. ;)

hehe... I have a natural tendency to run back into the same people again and again while continuing to expand my circle of friends. It is not a common thing, I've come to realize.

Between MySpace and Facebook, I've been put back in touch with a good bunch of people. At least two of whom I never thought I'd see again.

There is still one I'm looking for, though... and she is proving very difficult to stumble across. Of course, I haven't see nor heard from her since, like fifth grade...

Same here. I think all my high school friends were eaten by the giant snake after graduation like on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
