No Internet Connection For Me

Well, according to the usual rules, the fastest way to make the repair guy show up is, indeed, to settle in for a nap. Sure enough, about fifteen minutes later (just as I was seriously dozing off), the knock came at the door. (We'll ignore that I was told they'd call before they showed up... at least they were on time ( Read more... )

Aye... it all goes in cycles.

Just never pleasant as it's on the downswing.

Luckily, I have no doubt it will turn around soon enough. :)

So, I get all hyped up waiting to read about Br0d's party (which I'm sure was wild) and you give nothing. Instead I have to wade through paragraph vafter paragraph of inane bullshit about meaningless events. What's worse is that you don't even spend any time drawing conclusions about society or people, nor do you take a moment ever to really laugh at yourself ( ... )

First, log in or at least give me a name to put with the post! I don't mind the criticism at all, but I'd like to know where it's coming from... it would give it more weight and meaning and help me avoid the temptation of just brushing it off completely as someone just looking for trouble.

Second, I've been a bit down lately. What deeper meaning that's there is of a more private nature than I'm ready to spew out yet. I'm still making sense of a lot of it--and I can't tell the story until I've got the plot at least vaguely straight. That's how I've always worked and how I plan to continue working.

Is it?

I'm soooo bad with this astrology stuff.

It's one of the reasons I don't often do actual rituals.

Well, frack, I guess it is retrograde.

Crap. I hate it when this stuff syncs up. Causes problems for the more scientific hunk of my brain.

I don't keep up too much with astrology stuff, other than getting my daily horoscope emailed to me... but I do try to keep track of when mercury goes retro because it's nice knowing in advance when things are going to go kerplooey, and they usually do without fail. I've seen waaay too much to doubt anymore.
