Both Midnight and ChiarOscuro used to let tarot readers work for tips. ChiarO admittedly only did it for regular events, but Midnight seemed to just do it whenever someone got the urge. Might be worth checking out.

The thing that's bugging me most is my lack of office space for the tarot stuff. I would so much prefer to have an actual location people could come to.

Theoretically speaking, yes it is. :)

Of course, the practicality of it all isn't anywhere near as impressive. I mostly just involves figuring out where to put the classified ads. And then convincing people to let me into their homes... and then getting to their homes...

Maybe you could [instead of the homes thing] get them to travel to you? Set up a space in the main room and keep it clear just for that?

Thought about that... then kind of decided that I don't quite live close enough to the metro that I'd feel good about encouraging people to do that.

Of course, I'm not sure I'd discourage it, either.

It would definitely keep the apartment cleaner. :)

I know I've still got a lot I can learn about it. But I can't possibly be worse than some other people out there that charge big bucks to do similar things. Heck, at least I'll have a non-obnoxious web site. :)

I've actually never had a professional reading done. I have had some from friends over the years (very talented friends, I may add). I just can't justify the expense for myself. That and, apparently, I'm very difficult to read for.
