OMG...that centipede that that guy is holding!! I would have FREAKED OUT if I'd seen that in person. Gahhh!! (although it's impressive, how realistic it is.)

Having a severe centipede phobia since being bitten by a foot-long one that was hiding under my pillow, I can honestly say that it looked extremely fake in person.

Oh wow. I honestly didn't know there were any that existed in the US that were that big! *shudders* That's horrible.

I'm just weird about bugs in general, though-even the super fake-looking cockroaches that they sell at the Renaissance faire give me the creeps. ;)

If it's any consolation, I was visiting family in Hawaii at the time. The memories of that experience still make me shudder, though, which I'm sure makes watching things like certain parts of the remake of King Kong entertaining for everyone else around me.

Speaking of bugs and the RenFaire, I hope you managed to miss the booth that has bugs mounted in frames if you went this season. While the butterflies were beautiful, some of the other specimens were extremely creepy!
