OK... the last few weeks I've been pretty good about not just going off and wildly drooling over a lot of the shows I watch. But tonight's Lost was just.... wow...

hmm... didn't notice that. It would have had to be one of the background dudes at the commune.

So... did you think Locke was actually going to shoot the 21 Jumpstreet looking cop?

yeah, that was my first thought too. but mr friendly is taller & has a different facial structure. i think there's a strong possibility that they could be brothers.

Oh! That's right... I forgot he was going to be wandering on. I'm betting it's going to be in flashback sequences. Or as they guy brought in by what's-her-name who used to date Desmond to find the island.

It's so going to rock.

Yep, he'll appear in flashbacks, but I'm not going to share the spoiler on who he's gonna be unless you reaaaaally want me to. And then maybe only in email so as to not spoil it for anyone else wandering through.

i haven't been blown away by lost this season and two of my friends have already given up on it. some odd points from this week: how did hurley know that the hatch blew up? he was on the other side of the island when this happened and we didn't see any conversation where anyone told him this. how does locke wind up in a pot-growing commune? and that whole back story didn't really seem to have a resolution in the episode. last we see locke and eddie, locke isn't going to shoot and eddie walks away. wtf ( ... )

I actually think this season (so far) is flowing rather well. At least it doesn't feel like watching the same thing again, and again and again (like last season with the tail section survivors and the handful of on-island flashbacks ( ... )

I distinctly remember a line of dialog between Hurley and Desmond where Hurl asked about the Hatch. Desmond said it exploded and the H-man said something along the lines of "So that's what the purple light and loud noise was."

nope, that was later after desmond gets a shirt on. first hurley finds desmond naked in the jungle and desmond asks for some clothes. hurley wants to know what happened to his and desmond says he woke up in the jungle like that. hurley says "so like the hatch blew off your underwear?" hurley did not discuss the hatch with locke and charlie and this is the first he sees of desmond. i assume that something got edited out somewhere.

hrm... probably the case, then. Guess I was just remembering things out of order.

Kidna like Desmond's remembering the future. :)
